Foxfire Schools Utilizes the platform LIVESCHOOL to support PBIS! LIVE SCHOOL assists Foxfire transform culture with a SCHOOL-WIDE POINTS + REWARDS SYSTEM. We customize our behavioral rubric, to motivate students with a reward monthly cart and end of the year store, as well as to share data with parents and staff. Teachers easily record student performance with mobile and web apps based on our core values and 3 R’S (RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE & RISILIENT). Grade band scores are updated LIVE on TV screens throughout the building.

CORE VALUE Carts make their way around the building once a month. The carts are full of prizes & passes students can earn based on points accumulated from LIVE SCHOOL during the period. There are four different levels of rewards: PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER & BRONZE. Students receive a check based on grade level points.

As part of our PBIS program at Foxfire, attendance and Phoenix recognition are held weekly, monthly & quarterly! For students who maintain perfect attendance for a period or have two or fewer absences are eligible to entered in a drawing for a large prize and or attend a celebration such as a carnival or dance! Students also can become eligible based on their LIVE SCHOOL points for Phoenix of the Week, Month or Year award!

Students can earn unique passes from the Core Value Cart with their LIVE SCHOOL points!

Building a strong home to school connection piece is highly important in PBIS! At Foxfire students can earn a Core Value Card when they are witnessed by a staff member displaying one of our Core Values or 3 R’s!

Core Value Cards are mailed home and a copy is displayed in the school hallways. During the 2023-2024 school year nearly 700 Core Value Cards were written and mailed home to students & families!

Once a month all Core Value Cards received are put into a drawing. One is selected from the K-5, 6-8 and AM & PM High School shift! Students who have their Core Value Card drawn, receive a FREE Kids Meal from Raising Canes Chicken Fingers!

At Foxfire our PBIS program doesn’t stop in the classroom! Our expectations of being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE and RESLIENT extend to our non-structured environments including Hallways, Cafeteria and the School Buses!

The “Golden Tray” PBIS component assists with our cafeteria structure. Each day grade levels and or classes are scored by lunch monitors who monitor student behavior according to our 3R’s! This includes two traffic lights (Yacker Trackers) that measure noise volume. Weekly winners with the best average score receive extra points in their LIVE SCHOOL accounts and eat from the Golden Trays!

The “Bus Belt” PBIS component supports our bus drivers and their abilities to stay safe and focused on the roads! Each week the drivers report a score out of 10 points based on our 3 R’s. Weekly bus winners earn the Bus Belt that is displayed on their bus and additional points to their LIVE SCHOOL account!

Three times a year, Foxfire brings the buildings together to recognize students for their outstanding academics, behavior, Live School points, testing and other efforts! The assemblies also recognize staff for their dedication and commitment to our students through a school initiative or achievements from their classroom!

The end of the year PBIS Store allows students to purchase higher value items with the points they have earned collectively throughout the year. These items include televisions, gaming systems, drones, speakers and other items donated by the community and Foxfire Schools.
