Lindsey Abella

My name is Lindsey Abella and I am the School Nurse for Foxfire Schools. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. I have been a nurse for 17 years with experience in a couple of different areas of nursing. I started here in September 2018 and am contracted through Muskingum Valley Health Centers (MVHC).

My role as the school nurse is to provide health services that optimize student’s health and success. School Nurses work as a team with all staff members and parents/guardians to help students grow physically, emotionally, and academically.

I ask that you contact me with any changes in your child’s health history or medications and please keep emergency medical forms updated.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Foxfire and MVHC have partnered together to offer your child comprehensive medical and dental care while at school. Visit the clinic forms tab for more information and enrollment paperwork.

Medications

Please remember that students cannot transport medications back and forth to school. They must be brought to school by an adult and in the original prescription bottle that has the original pharmacy label on it. Students are able to take over the counter medicines that the school provides if we have parent/guardian consent on file.
