Foxfires Athletic Mission

Foxfire's Dropout Recovery High School Athletics Department’s mission is to empower and inspire at-risk youth on their journey toward academic success and personal growth through the transformative power of sports. Foxfire’s focus is on providing and connecting as many opportunities as we can to develop the whole child. Part of Foxfire's original founding vision statement is to create multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate success.

We recognize that the path to high school graduation can be challenging for many students, especially those facing socioeconomic, academic, or personal obstacles that put them at risk of dropping out. Therefore, our primary focus is on serving this resilient population, offering them a second chance to thrive academically, athletically, and personally.

Our athletics department serves as a beacon of hope, providing a supportive and inclusive environment where student-athletes can excel both on and off the field or court. We understand that participation in sports not only promotes physical well-being but also instills essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance – qualities that are fundamental to success in all areas of life.

Through our comprehensive athletic programs, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and purpose among our students, giving them a reason to stay engaged in their education and strive for excellence. Whether they're competing on the court, field, or track, our student-athletes learn the value of dedication, sportsmanship, and hard work, laying the foundation for a brighter future.

At Foxfire High School, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their past challenges or setbacks. By harnessing the power of athletics, we empower our students to overcome obstacles, stay in school, and ultimately graduate as confident, resilient, and successful individuals ready to make a positive impact on their communities.
