GRADUATION INFORMATION


Foxfire High School Graduation Ceremony is planned for: Wednesday, May 16th - 6pm @ Foxfire Schools. 
    
 
 

Dear Student,

Congratulations! You are on the list of Possible Graduates for 2018! You are on this list because you have the potential to complete your credits before the April 30th deadline. Just being on this list DOES NOT mean you are graduating—that is up to YOUNow is the time to finish strong and make plans for your future! If you are already on Senior Release & have passed your state exams, congratulations—you WILL be graduating in May!

Graduation is planned for Wednesday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. You must meet certain graduation requirements in addition to finishing your credits. The first requirement is attending the Foxfire Family Graduation Information Night on Thursday, February 22 at 5:00 p.m. At the meeting, you will learn about graduation requirements by visiting three stations:

5:00 -5:20 Everyone meets in the Gym for Graduation Information with Mr. Lee and Ms. Strock. Learn details about the graduation ceremony, including information about

                  credits, work-study, & attendance requirements, tickets, and what to wear. 

5:30- 6:30   Visit all stations in any order:

Station 1: Cap & Gown Measurement Station. Get measured for your graduation gown, and tell us how you want your name to be read at graduation & written on your diploma!

Station 2: Credit/WS/Attendance Station. Meet with your Compass Instructors to get an updated copy of your credits, Work Study and absences as well as a list of what you must do to graduate.

Station 3: Graduate Resource Station. Meet with Mr. Curtis and a variety of community

resource representatives to learn what options are available to you after graduation. 

The Foxfire Family Graduation Station Night is a requirement for all Foxfire seniors and juniors

finishing early and their families—if you have any conflict or questions, please call Ms. Strock

immediately! We look forward to seeing you and your family on February 22!
