Anticipated Kindergarten Teacher Position

Foxfire Schools are looking for a qualified and motivated self-starter for a full-time licensed Kindergarten teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. The focus of the program is to provide a lifelong love of learning and develop students academically, socially, and emotionally. The hired candidate will carry out all responsibilities necessary to teach our year round, full day program.

Qualifications:

· BA or MA in Education with a focus on Early Childhood Education

· Valid Ohio Teaching License Pk-3

· Reading Endorsement (Preferred)

· Successful Completion of BCI/FBI

Responsibilities:

· Implementing curriculum maps and lesson plans

· Evaluating students, analyzing student data, administering SLOs

· Manage a classroom of students using classroom management best practices

· Have a working knowledge of project based learning and station teaching

· Must be willing to attend Kindergarten Readiness Training ( if not trained in previous 2 years)

· Become familiar with Kready system

· Proficient with data entry into Kready System
